As Marketing Manager you will require a real mix of strategic planning, member mapping and hands on campaign delivery.

The role: Reporting to the Head of Marketing, we are looking for an experienced, energetic and entrepreneurial Marketing Manager to lead, deliver and manage the communications and marketing strategy for existing Sedex members. This is a critical role to ensure Sedex’s continued growth as you find innovative ways to increase member engagement, upsell new and existing tools/services, drive value in membership and positively impact renewals.

As Marketing Manager you will require a real mix of strategic planning, member mapping and hands on campaign delivery.

You’ll be part of the Commercial marketing team based in our London HQ office, but you’ll be working closely with many departments in the company including Client Services, Community, Responsible Sourcing and Training, as well as the teams in our regional offices including Shanghai, Santiago and Sydney.

Key Responsibilities of the Marketing Manager:

With this position there is scope to take ownership, shape the role and grow your own skill set. The role will include:

  • Develop an engagement plan for core membership types, mapping out journeys based on customer needs, challenges and opportunities.
  • Identify global needs/opportunities and deliver marketing activity accordingly.
  • Develop and lead on calendar of membership events, including global annual conferences and webinars – live and virtual
  • Lead the marketing stream of the customer experience project, helping to drive customer improvement
  • Champion the Sedex brand, ensuring all communications are delivered to a high standard and increase the credibility and reputation of Sedex.

Requirements for the Marketing Manager role:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ marketing experience, ideally with experience of developing marketing plans within a membership environment.
  • A clear understanding of marketing channels, with a focus on digital, including email automation and SEO
  • Self-motivated and target driven with the ability to independently drive results
  • Strong teamwork and influencing skills; the ability to collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders and departments to achieve objectives
  • An analytical and strategic mindset – always looking for ways to learn and improve
  • Interest to work within the responsible sourcing and ethics sector, with experience of this being a desirable attribute

Package: £40-50,000 basic salary plus 12% bonus and benefits
