The Role: This disruptive EPOS business are looking to take on their first marketer to support the sales function and generate organic inbound leads. With complete ownership over the marketing functions, you will be tasked with creating a strong online profile for the business, position them as thought leaders via a detailed content strategy and support lead generation. With an initially limited marketing budget, the role will require a creative individual who can generate inbound leads via typically organic methods. This will include, blogs, thought leadership, email, social, website UX and working with the existing agency. Events will also play a large role in their growth when attendance is once again a normality.

Responsibilities for the position of Marketing Manager

  • Define and execute an annual marketing strategy with the support of an existing agency
  • Structure messaging, tone of voice, channels and KPI’s for the marketing function
  • Lead scoring and nurture campaigns along with A/B Testing for both acquisition and retention
  • Track and analyse conversions, leads and website performance
  • Create a detailed and engaging content calendar to be distributed across multiple channels

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Experience working with a complex and multi faceted product; ideally within a startup environment
  • 3-6 years experience in a lead generation and content heavy marketing role
  • Previous experience working in both a strategic and execution position
  • Excellent communication when dealing with senior stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Experience in a results driven marketing environment with an ability to articulate and focus upon ROI at all times

The company are a high end all in one tech solution that target the hospitality sector. With international clients from major hotel groups to independent and chain pubs, the business is still going from strength to strength. Having grown to an annual revenue of over £1 million via direct sales teams, the business are now looking to support this via inbound marketing and grow their brand presence. With an existing brand and marketing strategy in place via a marketing agency, over the next 12 months this role will take over from them and implement a long term model that will involve growing a team after the first 12 months of measurable returns. With more funding planned for 2021, this is a truly exciting time to be joining a fantastic business within the tech world.

The Package for Marketing Manager

  • Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 depending on experience
