As the Sedex Marketing Executive, you will work closely with the global Business Development teams, creating engaging content, events and communications to generate new business leads. You will be analytical and curious, testing new approaches to deliver the best possible ROI on marketing spend.

The role: Reporting to the Marketing Manager (Acquisition) , we are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Marketing Executive to deliver targeted lead generation campaigns to increase the MQL pipeline . This is a critical role to ensure Sedex’s continued growth as you find innovative ways to grow the current membership base and support the business in meeting their business objectives.

As the Sedex Marketing Executive, you will work closely with the global Business Development teams, creating engaging content, events and communications to generate new business leads. You will be analytical and curious, testing new approaches to deliver the best possible ROI on marketing spend.

You’ll be part of the Commercial marketing team based in our London HQ office, but you’ll be working closely with many departments in the company including Client Services, Community & Responsible Sourcing and Training, as well as the teams in our regional offices including Shanghai, Santiago and Sydney.

Key Responsibilities of the Marketing Executive:

With this position there is scope to take ownership, shape the role and grow your own skill set. The role will include:

  • Increase new business opportunities to grow the current membership base through the delivery of lead generation and lead nurturing campaigns
  • Support on the delivery and reporting of online advertising campaigns, including Google Ads and paid social
  • Deliver email automation and lead scoring campaigns to nurture and support the conversion of leads
  • Champion the Sedex brand, ensuring all communications are delivered to a high standard and increase the credibility and reputation of Sedex.

Requirements for the Marketing Executive role:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ marketing experience including lead generation activity
  • A clear understanding of marketing channels, with tactical hands on experience of paid advertising, email automation and SEO
  • Self-motivated and target driven with the ability to independently drive results
  • Numerically skilled and commercially aware to analyse marketing activity and report on ROI, including working knowledge of Google Analytics and tracking
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadline
  • Experience using digital marketing tools, for example email platforms, website CMS, CRM

Package:

£30-35,000 basic salary plus 12% bonus and benefits
