Internal Account Manager

The role: As an Internal Account Manager you will initially be based in the Potters Bar office however they will be moving in the last quarter of 2018 to new premises in Hatfield which is close to major public transport links.
Your role as an Internal Account Manager would be to develop existing accounts and build new business across their complete range of products and solutions.
The majority of your role would be to develop new business within existing accounts, but you will also be encouraged to demonstrate your entrepreneurial flare and seek out brand new business opportunities.
You would initially be given 100 accounts to go at, and will typically speaking to project directors, company owners, and sales directors. You will be selling to manufacturing companies, IT resellers and building contractors.
The role will involve Identifying and winning high value opportunities whilst leveraging the support of external sales and the business units to negotiate and close complex sales opportunities.
Schneider Electric offer excellent sales and product training as well as ongoing coaching/mentoring to give you the confidence you need when speaking with your customers.
The ideal candidate would possess strong analytical, communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills as well as strong computer literacy across Microsoft packages including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
Sales experience in a B2B environment, either face to face or over the phone is desirable.

- Basic: £23,000 to £25,000
- OTE: £32,500
