The Role: This Head of Marketing role is a key hire within this growing technology business. Reporting to the CMO the objective of the role is support the various teams with product adoption whilst ensuring that the existing product offering meets the needs of existing clients. Internal and external communications will form part of the role as you focus on ensuring that existing clients are truly excited about the journey they are embarking on. In addition to this, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and driving the core product marketing strategy.

Responsibilities for the position of Head of Product Marketing include:

  • Championing the product internally and externally, positioning it with great messaging and clearly defined value propositions
  • Working closely with sales to educate and engage, giving them the knowledge and tools to take the solution to market more effectively.
  • Producing buyer focused messaging, customer sales presentations, RFPs, and creating content to articulate value of the product
  • Launching new product versions, features and functionality to prospects, customers, partners and the media in the most appropriate way, ensuring adoption and market penetration
  • Developing effective relationships with key product, development and sales stakeholders
  • Marketing/communicating to the existing customer base with appropriate and timely communications and customer events

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • 10+ years’ experience within a Product Marketing role in a B2B tech / SaaS business
  • Experience of working with and managing senior stakeholders
  • Very strong analytic skills and the ability to demonstrate an understanding of the levers of campaign optimisation
  • Demonstratable experience in creating product marketing campaigns based on customer insight/industry trends
  • Lead the development of customer insights required to validate product marketing plans
  • Ability to work day a week in the Cambridge office (once the world returns to normal)

The Package for Head of Product Marketing:

  • Salary: £75,000 – 85,000 + bonus + benefits

Location: The position of Head of Product Marketing will be based in Central London/Cambridge.
