The Company: This organisation is one of the leading standard bearers in environmental and business ethics in the UK. For almost 20 years they have built relationships with everyone across the supply chain from Farmers to global CEO’s of the world’s most complex organisations. Advising those clients on environmental and ethical best practice has enabled them to build trust and credibility.

They are now entering an exciting stage of their growth and development as they integrate a digital business intelligence platform to their product offering for the first time. This platform will enable their largest clients to access information and intelligence about these key business issues. The organisation has ambitious growth plans and will seek to take revenue from its current level to over 300% of that figure over the next five years.

The role of Head of Marketing:

The organisation is recruiting a Head of Marketing that will report into the Director of Corporate Affairs and the Board. The company have historically been very strong with PR and customer communications and engagement. Now they are looking for a commercially focused B2B marketer to support the ambitious international growth plans over the next five years.

To help achieve these goals, the company have already hired a new CEO, Commercial Director and Global Head of Sales. The next piece in the puzzle… This Head of Marketing role. This is the first time that the organisation will be hiring this ‘type’ of marketing role and its focus will be to set up a B2B lead generation engine for the marketing function.

The Head of Marketing will lead a team and external agencies to fulfil on the KPI’s –

· Improve outbound and inbound marketing activity levels resulting in Lead Generation – MQL’s, SAL’s, SQL’s

· Increasing Average Value Order – cross-selling and up-selling new and existing products/services

· Increasing Customer Lifetime Value

This is an all encompassing marketing role and the successful candidate will be able to show proven B2B marketing experience across international markets; overall brand strategy; outbound, inbound and digital marketing channel experience; customer acquisition, retention and advocacy programmes; marketing technology implementation; strong leadership and stakeholder management experience; and ultimately be a data and results-driven individual.

It is a vital hire for 2020 and is seen as a key strategic job function in the wider goals of the organisation.

The Package for Head of Marketing:

· Salary: £80,000 +

· 15% Bonus structure (which can be overachieved)

· 25 days holiday rising to 27 days after 2 years of service

Location: The position of Head of Marketing will be based in London, UK.
