Head of Community - Global London £65K | BMS Performance

You’ll be a key part of the Member and Customer Relations team based in the London HQ office, but you’ll be working closely with many departments in the company including Public Relations, Product, Development and Sales, as well as the teams in our regional offices including Shanghai, Santiago and Sydney.

The role: Sedex are looking for an experienced, energetic and entrepreneurial Community Manager to build, lead and manage their community programme. This is a critical role to ensure Sedex’s continued growth through onboarding community members, and engaging with Buyers and Suppliers at all levels, across the globe.

You’ll be a key part of the Member and Customer Relations team based in the London HQ office, but you’ll be working closely with many departments in the company including Public Relations, Product, Development and Sales, as well as the teams in our regional offices including Shanghai, Santiago and Sydney.

Key Responsibilities of the Head of Community:

  • Enhance Awarenessenhance brand awareness through community activities both online and offline with new community members and existing who might influence existing and potential users.
  • Community Improve Public Perception – help to improve the perception of Sedex from products & innovation, to our people & community
  • Customer Experience help to influence and enhance all customer experience touchpoints for the Sedex community, from technical support to sales interaction and online portal
  • Community Advocateshelp to discover new and nurture existing brand advocates and key influencers in the industry
  • Collect Analysis and Feedback help to identify opportunities to improve existing community product, or to understand successful enhancements for future products

Requirements for the Head of Community:

  • At least four years’ experience in a Community role or related field
  • Energetic, flexible and adaptable to work effectively in our fast-paced environment
  • An enthusiasm for user-centred design and creating transformational experiences for community members
  • Strong teamwork and influencing skills; the ability to collaborate with key internal stakeholders and departments to achieve objectives within tight time frames
  • An analytical and strategic mindset – always looking for ways to learn and improve
  • The ability to pivot between big-picture thinking and tactical execution, with a willingness to experiment

Package:

£65-75,000 basic salary plus 15% bonus and benefits
