The Role of a Field Service Engineer:
Attending customers' sites predominantly around the Midlands area, you will be installing, maintaining, and repairing machine control systems into mobile plant vehicles in the construction and agricultural industry. You will be retrofitting these systems onto existing machinery, fault finding on installed units, as well as providing training and support to the end users. You will also be tasked with stripping and rebuilding mobile plant machinery since the systems are plug-and-play but are buried in the heart of the vehicle. Primarily working Mon-Fri visiting 2-3 sites per day. Experience with Trimble MCS or Leica MCS would be beneficial.

The Candidate for the Field Service Engineer Position:

  • You will have mechanical and hydraulic experience
  • Previous experience working on mobile plant equipment is ESSENTIAL
  • Mechanical engineers from the Armed Forces are advised to apply
  • Plant fitting experience would be advantageous
  • A level of IT literacy is essential
  • You must have a full driving licence
  • You MUST have right to work in the UK
