The Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for Marketing Product Development, Sales Force Education and the key Surgeon Relationship Program.

The Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for Marketing Product Development, Sales Force Education and the key Surgeon Relationship Program.

You will lead the UK marketing effort regarding product development working with other functional areas such as engineering, clinical affairs, regulatory, operations to bring products to market in accordance with company goals.

The Role is responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a strategic and tactical marketing plan.
  • Taking ownership of all marketing functions such as advertising, forecasting, marketing communications, trade show management and website management.
  • Conducting market research to determine customer requirements, reimbursement, market penetration, share, volume, mix, profit and pricing alignment.
  • Defining and owning tracking mechanisms to measure the success of marketing sales programs versus forecast and report on their effectiveness.
  • Designing and implementing sales and customer education programs.
  • Identifying the Key Opinion Leaders, managing relationships, developing the speaker and communication programs.
  • Managing the meeting and exhibition programme including the budget, which meetings and events to attend, analysing return on investment, logistics management and coordination.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • 5 years+ marketing experience.
  • Experience in multiple levels of medical device marketing including strategic planning, leading implementation plans, market research, pricing, forecasting and monitoring conformance to revenue plan and to budget.
  • You will be a strong communicator with the ability to translate scientific documents for sales force and clinician education.
  • You will ideally possess proven success in working with clinicians from numerous medical specialities.
  • Excellent influencer comfortable in a complex environment and flexible enough to respond quickly to market issues and opportunities as needed.
  • Education: BSc/BA – Science or business; MBA highly desirable.

Location: The position of Field Marketing Manager is covering the UK and requires frequent travel (80%) around the UK and to the business’ HQ in Italy.

There is the need to attend the office as required, approximately 2-4 times a month as such you will need to be based within 2 hours of Wetherby.
