Engineering Manager – Automatic Doors – Basic Salary £55,000 – £60,000 + Bonus + Company Car

Candidate Location: Commutable to Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 + Bonuses

The Company: Our client has been a leading force within the automatic door market for over 70 years and still maintain a family-run atmosphere. Following consistent growth, over the last 5 years, they are looking to bring on board an engineering manager to manage the entire service department and drive its growth.

The Role: This role entails the complete management of the service and installs division managing engineers working remotely around the country. It is an office-based role however travel is expected to visit clients and to ensure best practice is always being implemented by the workforce. As with most service departments, customer retention is key and the company expects the candidate to be an advocate for customer service and help guide the team to provide great service every time.

The candidate: We are looking for candidates who have previously managed service or install team or alternatively managed external engineers spanning across a large area. Excellent communication and people skills are essential to being successful in this role. The right candidate would preferably be used to working to KPI’s and monitoring KPI’s within an engineering team.
