THE COMPANY – The company is an internationally renowned insurance company over 100 years old. They are a credit insurance company that offers a wide range of bonding, guarantees and collections services for the management of business-to-business trade receivables. They are looking to expand into the Northern European Markets via a wide range of marketing channels. That’s where you come in. The company is looking for an experienced Digital Product Marketer to take full ownership of the European marketing strategy, oversee the regional marketing teams and report into the Regional Marketing Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – The role of Digital Product Marketing Manager comes with a broad remit. The overarching objective is to drive revenue, customer acquisition and customer retention. You will be the nucleus of the company’s channel marketing growth strategy, working with product marketing, digital and marketing automation. You will achieve this by having expert knowledge of digital marketing disciplines whilst simultaneously leading the remote digital marketing teams across the regions (dotted lines). The three key areas of the role are:

Digital Marketing: You will be monitoring the group performance and driving the digital marketing success by working with the group. Key skills you will need to have are SEO, PPC, Automated email marketing campaigns, paid social and affiliate partnerships. Ultimately, the role can be broken down into two key aspects:

Data: You will be driven by data, comfortable with Excel and presenting this data to directors within the company. You will have numerical and analytical mind, with a proven track record with datasets, whilst being able to interpret trends, spikes, and troughs accordingly. Additionally, you will be able to present this data to senior colleagues confidently and concisely.

Product: This will involve working in a symbiotic relationship with all the marketing teams (dotted lines), by driving the success of the company’s product(s) across Northern Europe. You will be an experienced marketing campaign manager with a comprehensive understanding of who/what/where the target audience are within the financial/insurance industries.

Key Requirements and Experience

  • You will need to have had prior leadership experience working remotely and overseeing the strategy of the team.
  • A comprehensive knowledge of working in the financial sector, with a background in digital product marketing.
  • A degree in Marketing or another related field
  • A minimum of 5+ years B2B digital marketing experience
  • Experience of using the following digital marketing tools: Marketo, Salesforce, PPC, SEO and email automation.
  • Project management skills including goal setting, management of deadlines and budget and development

The package for the role of Digital Product Marketing Manager:

  • Basic salary – £60,000-65,000
  • Bonus – £10,000
