The Role: The Digital Acquisition & Marketing Manager will report to the Senior Marketing Communications Manager and will become part of a 5 person marketing team. The role will require cross-functional stakeholder management and will be responsible for the company’s performance marketing initiatives.

This role has been formed to increase the company’s lead generation output via performance channels. This role therefore requires an expert knowledge of performance marketing channels including the Google suite (Google AdWords, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics). You will know how to increase conversion rate through great ads and you will enjoy testing content on landing pages.

As well as the performance marketing tactics, this role will also get involved with wider campaign strategy and work with the rest of the marketing team to roll out the campaign initiatives. Marketing automation experience would set you apart from the competition (Hubspot, Pardot , Marketo or Eloqua would be great).

The objective of the role is to generate marketing qualified leads to the sales team. The Digital Acquisition & Marketing Manager will utilise a broad range of marketing channels (SEO, PPC, paid media, email automation social media and direct mail) to achieve this.

The successful candidate will be a commercially savvy marketer with creative flair, but who first and foremost has a data-driven, analytical style of marketing. They are looking for a motivated, talented and successful digital marketer to join their business. This role will have 1 direct report so management / mentoring experience is a must!

Responsibilities for the position of Digital Acquisition & Marketing Manager:

  • Grow the current customer base and increase new business opportunities through lead generation and lead nurturing campaigns
  • Oversee the PPC and SEM strategy
  • Successful manage the third party agencies who work on PPC and display campaigns
  • Hitting and exceeding targets for new customer leads, lead conversion and customer acquisition
  • Running A/B Testis of landing pages and website content to improve results
  • Driving traffic to the website by executing the digital marketing strategy (SEO, PPC, Paid Media, Display, social media and email automation)
  • Analysing the website traffic and improving UX and customer journey onsite – google analytics

To be considered for the role of Digital Marketing Manager you must have:

  • B2B digital marketing experience
  • Strong, tactical, hands-on experience of performance marketing and google tool suite
  • Experience in generating leads for sales teams
  • Working knowledge of Marketing Automation
  • Team management / individual mentoring experience
