Generous Base Salary, Car Allowance and Uncapped Commission Scheme – $200k + OTE

The Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be tasked increasing market share in VIC. You will be supported by extensive marketing efforts and the wider business to generate warm / hot leads and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities include:

  • New business development selling practice management software to dental clinics
  • Prospecting and cold calling to generate the required activity KPI’s to work towards territory sales targets (typically 10 meetings per week)
  • Cultivating strong relationships, including co-calling, with your colleagues in the distribution division to promote collaboration and cross-selling into accounts
  • Be hungry and act with a sense of urgency to respond to all leads in a timely manner and promptly progress all opportunities
  • Managing your sales pipeline and forecasting through the CRM system
  • Leveraging customer and supplier relationships to drive new business sales
  • Attend and represent company and industry events/tradeshows along with participating in company promotions and campaigns within the dental industry.
  • Understand and provide insights and analysis to the company around industry trends

The Candidate:
Our client is looking for an experienced hunter with a proven track record of winning new business from scratch. Whilst experience selling Dentists will be highly regarded, it is not essential. Your experience could come from SaaS, Software, B2B Solutions, MedTech, Business Services etc.
Our client is ultimately searching for a highly consultative, results focused individual who is motivated to exceed targets and take advantage of a lucrative uncapped commission scheme.
This role would suit someone who is 3-5 years into their business development career and has demonstrated a structured and methodical approach to winning new business, it would be highly advantageous if you’ve been trained or are familiar with the Challenger methodology, however the key criteria is that you are able to articulate your process and can give specific examples of how you’ve been able to achieve your results in your business development career to date.
You need to be impeccably presented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills as you are dealing with highly educated, professional decision makers who are time poor.
