The role: The incoming Business Development Manager will play a key part in driving a period of sustained growth for Sedex. Targeting a range of market verticals including Retail, Finance and Healthcare, this is a new business sales role that could see you pitching to some of the world’s largest organisations.

Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:

  • To prospect new customers within the relevant business development groups
  • Qualify inbound leads effectively and making quantified solution recommendations by matching business requirements to Sedex solutions
  • Establish customer needs by building rapport, using effective questioning techniques, and matching to Sedex product and service offerings
  • Demonstrate Sedex products and services following requirement gathering
  • Complete proposals and liaise with internal stakeholders for completion
  • Contribute to competitive analysis for key markets, industries, and customer segments
  • Collaborate with the marketing team where required to help to develop high impact marketing and lead generation campaigns
  • Assist in representing Sedex at external events and meetings
  • Maximise all sales opportunities and achieve individual targets.

Requirements for the Business Development Manager:

  • A proven B2B new business sales background, ideally including web demo experience
  • Consultative and customer focused approach
  • Strong teamwork and influencing skills
  • An ability to put together and deliver ROI and solution focused client proposals
  • Interest to work within the responsible sourcing and ethics sector


Package:

A highly competitive package will be offered including a strong basic salary, an uncapped bonus structure and work from home flexibility.
