Representing a reputable fasteners supplier, the BDM will be responsible for selling into OEMs across the UK. Attending up to on average 2-3 client meetings per week, you will be based locally to Telford to enable you to manage the office staff which will consist of various departments such as accounts, customer services, warehouse, admin etc. You will be dealing with procurement managers and directors. You will also have marketing responsibility in relation to identifying new products, identifying new markets to target, promoting the business and attend exhibitions where appropriate.

Candidate Location: Telford

Salary: £35-40,000 basic + £5,000 commission

The Role: Representing a reputable fasteners supplier, the BDM will be responsible for selling into OEMs across the UK. Attending up to on average 2-3 client meetings per week, you will be based locally to Telford to enable you to manage the office staff which will consist of various departments such as accounts, customer services, warehouse, admin etc. You will be dealing with procurement managers and directors. You will also have marketing responsibility in relation to identifying new products, identifying new markets to target, promoting the business and attend exhibitions where appropriate. You will inherit an existing account base to manage and upsell within however the majority of your time will be to identify new opportunities with the support of marketing. To be successful you must be entrepreneurial, a natural leader, resourceful and from a background selling products into OEMs.

  • Sold to OEMs such as marine, medical, PPE, pet apparel and the MOD
  • Product field sales experience
  • Technically minded
  • Driving licence
