The Role: As a Business Development Manager, you are target to deliver agreed sales volumes and grow a defined sales territory.

Key Responsibilities for the Business Development Manager:

  • You will be responsible for increasing profitable sales growth within your territory
  • Business development activities will be largely conducted face to face
  • You will have full control of your territory and you are responsible for booking your own meetings
  • You are to build and develop a pipeline of customers within the convenience sector
  • Produce sales reports and accurate forecasts each month
  • Provide excellent customer service and support until installation day
  • To follow up on all sales leads and aim to convert them into a sale
  • Attend monthly team meetings
  • Be an expert in your field and the needs of the small business
  • Ensure activity targets such as calls, emails and meetings are achieved

They have evolved and improved with technology overtime and they offer sophisticated technology to the retail convenience sector with the over growing demand and footfall within these types of businesses.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • It is very desirable if you have a B2B sales background within technology or EPOS systems
  • Ideally sold a product / service into independent retail businesses
  • It is desirable if you have had professional sales training
  • Have a consultative sales process
  • Must be a new business hunter
  • Must be professional, articulate, good communicator and intelligent
  • Degree is desirable

Candidate Location: PL, TQ, TA, BA, EX

Salary: £27,000 with an uncapped OTE £40,000, laptop, mobile, pension, BUPA, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
