The Business Development Manager will be selling a range of batteries and Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) systems into an array of end users and OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers). The markets you will be focussing on will be the energy, mobility, telecoms, electric vehicles, and renewable energy. This role will be split between new business activity, as well as managing a set of inherited key accounts which are well established and already have strong business agreements in place. You will be tasked on bringing on new business throughout the Northern region – our client have recently become a UK supplier of a globally known brand of UPS and battery systems which will make this role extremely lucrative for the successful applicant.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Have a background in selling a technical based product
  • Have a passion for new business and have strong account management skills
  • Live across the North
  • Are keen to work within an emerging business making a name for themselves
  • Understand the technical aspects of this kind of sales process
  • Full & Clean driving licence

Candidate Location: Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle, Preston

Salary: £45k basic salary DOE + OTE £12,000 uncapped + £6k Car Allowance + Pension + Phone/Laptop + 25 Days Holiday
