Business Development Manager – Electrical & Automation Distribution

The Role: This is an extremely rare Business Development Manager opportunity for someone who is career driven, looking for a management position in the near future, and has a B2B sales track record. You will have the opportunity to sell a range of products including electrical, lighting, and automation components for one of our clients’ many distribution businesses with their growing group of companies.

Based from the business centre closest to you, you will begin your role as a Business Development Manager as a sales professional learning the business, the product range, and the customer base. You will target customers in the FM, M&E Contractors, and System Integrator sectors, as well as other distributors of your products. This will be achieved through a mixture of face to face and online meetings with customers throughout the region.

As you progress on this journey, the Business Development Manager will have the opportunity to become a Business Center Manager at the first available opportunity.

This future role involves full P&L responsibility of a Business Centre within the group, management of a sales & back-office team, and the opportunity to run the centre as though it was your own with the full backing and support of the larger group. This could happen extremely quickly dependent on the geographical region you are working in.

Requirements: To be considered for the Business Development Manager role you must:

· Have a track record of B2B sales

· A desire for sales and business management for your career long-term

· Be driven, career focussed, and lead from the front

· Understand P&L, B2B commercial sales, and territory planning

· Be an effective communicator & negotiator

· Have a clean driving licence
