Senior Business Development Manager – Fulfilment & Logistics

Candidate location: North West or Midlands

Salary: £60,000-70,000 OTE £100,000

The Role: The Business Development Manager will be responsible generating and winning new contracts with high profile customers within all industry sectors such as retail, e-commerce, charities, pharmaceuticals and hospitality. You’ll split your time between home, company regional offices in the North West and Midlands, and meeting clients offsite. You will mentor and have support from a Business Development Executive who will provide and generate leads. You will also work alongside the marketing department create literature to target specific industries. You will be managing multiple projects, sometimes business will be tendered for and deal with senior decision makers within large corporates and multisite operator across a variety of business sectors such as a procurement director, director, managing director, logistics director.

Their in-house design team are true industry leaders – dealing with brand leaders internationally. This £30m pa company form part of a larger multi-billion $ operation, the autonomy given gives opportunity to continue to grow and develop.

For this Senior Business Development Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • A track record selling to recognised companies / brands at a senior level
  • Sold complex solutions, ideally a sold bespoke service
  • Experience of selling into large e-Commerce companies is a bonus
  • Used to dealing with tenders and a longer sales process
