Salary £22-25,000+ uncapped OTE

  • THE COMPANY: Rare opportunity to join an Exeter based design agency and help them move their business forward. This company has been well respected in the field of physical product design and product innovation for the last 20 years and now needs a driven and bright sales person to build a pipeline of potential clients across verticals such as medical devices, leisure, technology and FMCG and take their business to the next level. This will be a brand new role for the business and there is a great opportunity to forge a role and bring ideas to the table. The role will involve market mapping vertical sectors to target via Linked In and database as well as cold calling, email prospecting, building case studies, and a mix of teams and face to face meetings and pitches. Based in the beautiful and vibrant Exeter Quays area, this is a great creative and professional space to work.

THE ROLE: The successful candidate will work daily in the office for the first 3 months with more flexibility after this, so easy access to Exeter city centre would be ideal. Candidates will ideally possess 12 months+ experience of working in an office or hybrid sales background but fresh graduates within product design or related degrees should also apply. The role involves consultative sales, pitching and presenting, negotiating, price agreements and business development via Linked In and Teams. This requires a self starter with patience to build a sales pipeline and work from their own initiative as well as receiving guidance and company training from the in house team. You will be well trained on their services and company proposition but a need to be self motivated and be target and KPI driven is key to success long term.

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE:

  • Graduate or entry level candidate who is very self motivated and driven to achieve targets.
  • A sales person with telesales or field sales experience or recruitment.
  • Previous graduate within design/product design who wants to progress into sales
  • Happy in an office environment making cold calls and outreach.
  • Easy access to Exeter city centre

THE PACKAGE FOR TERRITORY MANAGER:

Basic: £22-25,000

Bonus: £20k OTE paid on invoice

Daily in office: 9-5 with some flexibility around this.
