The Role:
  
This is a 12 Month maternity leave position.
  
You will be required to work from the head office which is located in North Western Sydney (initially full-time office based, however the role will offer 1 day per week from home once you’ve completed your induction).
  
You will be working closely with the Marketing Manager, Product Manager and in house Graphic Design and Digital marketing teams.
  
Some key responsibilities include:
  
New Product Development

  • Work closely with Product Manager to deliver the design elements of new product development (e.g. packaging)
  • Managing packaging design & artwork process (internal or external designers)

  
Sales & Marketing Material

  • Oversee brand consistency across POS materials
  • Ensure all relevant sales materials are developed to support new products and seasonal events

  
E-commerce

  • Creating relevant content for the Digital Manager to use online (articles, videos, photography)
  • Instagram & Facebook posts (in cooperation with DMM)
  • Blogger liaison and online PR management

  
Media and PR

  • Media releases
  • Advertising plan according to budget
  • Advertising content planning and delivery

  
Promo & Other

  • Planning and organising video content development with external parties
  • Assist Marketing Manager and provide support and assistance to other areas of the business as required, and that are within your capabilities.
  • Comply and implement safe work practices (OHS principles) and the company’s values and policies.

  
  
The Candidate: Ideally, you will have some experience in a Marketing/Brand Management role within FMCG, Consumer Electronics, Home Hardware or similar.
  
To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following:
  

  • Marketing Degree
  • Intermediate experience in classic marketing techniques
  • Some experience / knowledge of digital marketing (SEO, SEM, blogging, social media)
  • Good Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Word skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • High motivation levels and a positive attitude including a willingness to attend to ad hoc tasks as required.
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work efficiently and effectively both autonomously and as part of a team.

  
**LOCATION : You will be required to commute to the office on a daily basis, our client is in North Western Sydney (Hills District, Parramatta Region).
