THE COMPANY: An international organisation who continue to excel through innovation, product quality and customer service / backup that is second to none. They provide a range of invitro diagnostic analysers (capital equipment, consumables and associated support services) for use within pathology labs and a well-deserved internal promotion means that they are currently seeking to recruit an experienced, strategic and personable hospital lab sales professional to help develop their business within the UK and Ireland.

THE ROLE: The successful Business Development Manager will enjoy a rare level of autonomy and have a real impact on company strategy and performance. As well as winning and managing key laboratory and procurement relationships within NHS and private hospitals, you will also be mentoring and working closely with the company’s team of Account Managers and helping them to develop business opportunities. Due to the specialist and senior nature of the role, it is essential that candidates possess a proven and successful track record selling equipment into pathology laboratories, ideally with documented new business success. Full product training will be provided and career and earning prospects are very attractive.

The Package for Business Development Manager:

  • Basic: £55,000 to £60,000
  • Bonus: £11,000 to £22,000
  • Car: Fully expensed company car
  • Benefits: Healthcare, generous pension, mobile, laptop, 25 days holiday + stats
