As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the rental of large rotating equipment into civil engineering and ground-works customers. Roughly 75% of the role will be geared towards new business growth. You will be engaging with site managers, engineering managers and buyers at customers of varying sizes. 25% of your role as Area Sales Manager will involve account management, where you will be expected to develop existing relationships further to increase account expenditure.

THE ROLE:
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the rental of large rotating equipment into civil engineering and ground-works customers. Roughly 75% of the role will be geared towards new business growth. You will be engaging with site managers, engineering managers and buyers at customers of varying sizes. 25% of your role as Area Sales Manager will involve account management, where you will be expected to develop existing relationships further to increase account expenditure.

THE PERSON: In order to be considered for the role of Area Specification Sales Manager, you must have prior experience of selling or renting large reciprocal equipment, such as pumps, compressors and generators. Experience dealing with civil engineering and ground-works firms will be very advantageous. You must be driven and enthusiastic; able to hold conversations at various levels. Prior experience of this equipment is essential.
