THE COMPANY: Established nearly 100 years ago, our client occupies the number one position within their market. They are a global manufacturer of specialist flooring solutions, selling at specification level for large commercial and manufacturing builds. They are well established in Ireland, and are looking to expand their team in Leinster.

THE ROLE: As Sales Representative for this ambitious company you will be covering Leinster, supplying technical flooring solutions to end-users, specialist contractors, and specifiers. Working with a premium product you will be working with customers on a project basis to fulfill their specific flooring requirements. Industries you will target include Commercial Builds, Pharmaceutical/Food & Beverage/Medical/Manufacturing. You will be responsible for the project from the initial sale right through to completion/installation, so an understanding of sales and project management is essential.

THE PERSON: You will have demonstrable experience in a technical project-based sales role, preferably gained from working with a manufacturer. Ideally, you will be coming from a specification sales background, however, if you have experience selling to the manufacturing sector then you will also be considered. You must have experience in solution-based sales, not just one-off products or consumables. Each project is unique to the customer therefore each solution is bespoke. Specific market knowledge is advantageous but not essential. Crucially the successful applicant will be confident, outgoing, and keen to learn a technical product.

FOR THIS PROJECT SALES MANAGER POSITION, WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

  • Strong Sales and/or Project Management experience
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Experience within the construction/manufacturing industry is desirable
  • Flooring sales experience desirable but not essential
  • You must be motivated, driven, energetic, and a self-starter
  • Polished and well-presented candidates are sought

BENEFITS OF THIS ROLE:

Basic Salary: €50,000 - €60,000

Uncapped Commission; €40,000+ OTE

Fully expensed company car
