The Role: The successful Area Sales Manager will predominantly be managing accounts within the construction end user sector, dealing with contractors, housebuilders, local authorities and demolition companies. The role also involves talking to branch, health & safety and procurement managers within existing accounts, dealing with national and independent merchants, electrical wholesalers and national hire accounts. The Company: This market leading firm has been established for over a century and is renowned for the quality of their products and after-sales service. They manufacture a full range of electric power tools including saws, drills, grinders and hammers and now seek a new Area Sales Manager as they have just promoted the current incumbent.

For this Area Sales Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Strong field sales skills
  • A track record of selling into the construction distribution sector is ideal
  • You will have fantastic communication skills and be highly motivated
