Account Manager - Hardware and Tooling

This market leading company with high quality, top of the range products has been supplying the Australian marketplace for over 50 years. With a diverse range of hardware related products our client is renowned for providing hand tools, power tools and other products to Australia’s biggest retail chains. This ambitious company has a strong National standing and is looking to enhance its exposure further by inserting a key individual to manage the independent hardware sector.
You will be responsible for maximising sales and profit volume through the management of the independent hardware channel. You will manage the company’s existing clients within a specific territory. You will largely be dealing with business owners, store managers and external sales representatives. You will approach the targeted customer base consultatively by fully understanding the individual needs of the customer, to customise optimum solution.
The ideal applicant will have experience of selling powertools/handtools/hardware into the independent hardware channel. Your passion for outstanding service allows you to create robust and long-term customer relationships. Our client will potentially also consider individuals with established account management experience in the general building and construction space.
Total Base Package of $70k – 75k + Bonus + Car + Super
