Are you a solid performer in the building, construction, hardware market and on the lookout for your next account management role?
Do you have a genuine interested in power tools and would consider you’re a bit of a handy man?
You will manage the company’s existing clients within its independent distributor channel. An Australian owned supplier of Hardware and Tools is seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage a northern Sydney / Central Coast / Newcastle territory.
This market leading company with high quality, top of the range products has been supplying the Australian marketplace for over 50 years. With a diverse range of hardware related products our client is renowned for providing hand tools, power tools and other products to Australia’s biggest retail chains. This ambitious company has a strong National standing and is looking to enhance its exposure further by inserting a key individual to manage the retail hardware sector.
You will be responsible for maximising sales and profit volume in our client’s distributors. You will manage the company’s existing clients focusing predominately on the independent hardware stores. You will largely be dealing with branch managers, procurement managers, and external sales representatives at Australia’s largest DIY retailer. The role is highly autonomous and therefore our client is seeking a candidate who is experience in managing a large northern NSW territory.
The ideal applicant will have experience of selling powertools / handtools / hardware into the independent hardware channel. Our client will potentially consider individuals with established account management experience within the general building and construction space. This family owned company operates under honest and positive core values. Our client is truly seeking a team player that work towards the shared goals of the company. Having a passion for the product you are selling allowing you to provide solutions to their loyal customer base is equally important.
Total Base Package of $70k – 75k + Bonus + Car + Super.
