The Role: This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, highly competent salesperson to join a well-established team, in a senior role. This division of the business is about to close off on a record year in sales, and despite some market turbulence surrounding the covid-19 pandemic, will press on with the recruitment of an Account Director. The purpose of this role is to take some of the largest spending accounts away from the team lead in this division. You will be tasked with maximising and hopefully increasing revenue from those accounts, as well as increasing the value of your portfolio with new business sales. All your accounts will be businesses linked to e-commerce, online retail, or technology, and have key decision makers at c-level. The role is highly autonomous and will have high expectations, but also high rewards.

The core revenue streams of this role are digital advertising and sponsored content; however, you will also have the ability to sell on the well regarded print portfolio, events portfolio and have the ability to create bespoke offerings for your clients.

As an Account Director your responsibilities will include:

  • Selling digital advertising space, sponsored content, and event marketing opportunities.
  • Managing pre-existing relationships and winning new business in the e-commerce and technology space
  • Regular opportunities to attend face to face sales meetings.

For this position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • 5+ years b2b sales experience.
  • A preference for experience in media, technology, or e-commerce
  • The credibility to manage and run meetings with c-level decision makers
